Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) is implemented by Department of Land Resources of Ministry of Rural Development. The main objective of IWMP is to restore ecological balance by harnessing, conserving and developing degraded natural resources such as soil, vegetative cover and water. Guidelines for IWMP are provided. Integrated Assessment of Scale Impacts of Watershed Interventions is the outcome of a multi-disciplinary research team of social scientists, hydrologists (groundwater and surface water), modellers; and bio-physical scientists who have worked together over five years to develop an integrated model of the sustainability of biophysical, economic.

The books share some core observations: Humans are 70 percent water. The planet has always had the same amount of water — . The Department of Water Resources aims to provide superior water service at an excellent value; our vision is to be widely recognized as a leader in the water industry. We have been recognized both statewide and nationally for excellence in water production, wastewater treatment, and infrastructure development. Development of a watershed based plan is the key step in the efforts to restore our rivers and streams from the impacts of nonpoint sources of pollution. The plans focus on addressing issues identified by the impaired streams list and TMDLs, with the ultimate goal of restoring the waterbody so it can meet water quality NPS Program may be able to provide .

It provides guidance and suggestions for working through the various stages of watershed projects, from working with potential sponsors to providing project rehabilitation.

Clean Water Act section grant guidelines are used to develop watershed plans and to show where they fit within the six steps of the watershed planning process.
